September 2022 Release Notes

Here are the new things that were released in September!

Training Updates

Updates to the Text Display on Completed Training

Now you can add color!!!!! This feature has been requested quite a bit and we're thrilled to add it. Now you can color both the text in the display, as well as the background so you can truly see your skills on the matrix how it makes most sense to you.

Edit the Score of Offline Training

You can now update an employee's offline training score (so it's not always 100%) from the details. 

Ask if an Employee wants to take a Training from the Library before Assigning it to them

When an employee clicks on a training from the library that they aren't already assigned, we were assigning it to them without a due date. Some of our customers let us know that that's not necessarily how they want to see these things (as it's an employee being proactive), so we added an additional confirmation that the employee wants to actually take the training vs just looking at it.

Show only the most recent Due Date on Trainings with multiple assignments

Before, we were showing the first assignment, however after discussing with our customers we realized that the most recent assignment is the one we should be going off of, so we made that adjustment in the grids.

Forms Updates

Allow Managers to Edit Submitted Forms

In case someone fat fingers something - or if something changes, we've given managers the ability to edit any form that's been submitted. 

Complete a Form from the Detail Page

Small, but necessary - we added a complete button to the form detail page

Auto-Incrementing Identifiers for Workflows

Workflows now auto-increment just like work orders! These can be seen on the overview and detail pages!

Maintenance Updates

Set Work Order Type Notifications

You can now set default notifications for the different types of work orders you have! Whether you want the notification to someone specific, or a group of people - you can now set those settings.

Add Work Order Status to Asset Activity

Whenever the status of a work order changes, it now applies that as activity to the asset the work order is assigned to. 

Require Asset Status on Work Orders

We now require the asset status (Up or down) to be selected when working on a work order so that we can track the up and down times for each work order.

Core Updates

QR Codes throughout the System

So exciting and part of so many portions of the system. QR Codes can now be generated for a variety of different new things, including:

  • Forms Completion
  • Checklist Completion
  • Course Completion
  • Lesson Completion

Turn on/off Training Notifications

You can now turn on/off notifications for training via email or text. 

Alert of Associations when Deleting an Asset

Whenever you go to delete an asset, anything tied to it will be shown to the user so they can delete or retire anything associated with that machine when it's removed.

Bug Fixes, etc.

  • On a Lesson Instance, the DisplayAs field wasn't populating correctly all the time. Some troubleshooting found the issue and we're back to normal!
  • A couple of videos were having trouble being uploaded and we were able to fix the bottleneck we found with Azure Media Servcies
