Admin / Roles - Overview

Almost everything you can do in Noviqu is tied to a permission of some sort. A role is a collection of permissions so that you can easily control who can see and do what in Noviqu.

There are two types of roles in Noviqu:

  • User Role - A role with the type of User will contain a limited selection of permissions in Noviqu to grant access to. This role should only be used for users that will never need any kind of Admin access in Noviqu.

  • Manager Role - A role with the type of Manager will contain all of the permissions that are available in Noviqu. You still have control over what permissions they have, but you have the option of giving this role permission to everything.
