Areas - Create New Area

Follow the steps below to learn how to create a new Area in Noviqu! If you're not sure what an area is, check out Areas - Overview.


  1. Login to your Noviqu account and then navigate to the Areas page using the menu on the left-hand side.

  1. Once you are on the Areas page, click on the Add New button in the top right to start creating a new area.

Heads up! You'll need the "Areas -> Can Create & Edit" permission in Noviqu to create new areas. You will not see the Add New button if you do not have the correct permissions.

  1. A window will slide open when you can add the details for your new area. All fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are required. Here's a list of each field as well as a brief description of what they are.
    • Name - The name of the area.
    • Description - A description of the area.
    • Site - Pick which site this area belongs to. Learn more about sites here.
    • Assign a Tag - Choose whether to create and assign a new tag to this area. You can always choose to assign a tag after creating the area as well. Learn more about tags here.

  1. Once you have all of the fields filled in, click on the Create button in the bottom left corner of the New Area window.

  1. After the area has been created, you will be redirected to the Area Detail page. This is where you can see the details of an area as well as what learnings have been associated with it in Noviqu. If you're interested in learning more about what you can do on the Area Detail page, click here.
